Laminated

Laminated glass is a process where two or more glass plates are bonded together under heat and pressure with special polymer interlayers such as PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral), EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), or SentryGlas (SG). This process not only makes the glass stronger but also prevents glass fragments from scattering upon breakage by adhering to the interlayer and keeping the glass opening intact. Laminated glass is an indispensable solution for all exterior facades, skylights, floor glazing, and ballistic (bulletproof) applications where safety standards are mandatory. It also offers excellent sound insulation and blocks harmful UV rays.

Automatic Lamination Line

After bonding the glass plates and interlayers together, they are first processed in vacuum presses to remove air bubbles. Final bonding and transparency are achieved in our special Eva Laminate ovens, which operate under high temperature and pressure. This controlled process guarantees zero optical distortion and maximum bonding strength between the glass layers.

PVB / EVA Thickness;
Maximum 0.38 mm – 0.76 mm – 1.14 mm – 1.52 mm

PVB / EVA Kalınlığı;

Stretch and Protect Against Breakage

Laminated glass may crack upon impact, but it will not be punctured. Even if the glass breaks, the interlayer keeps it in place, protecting the opening. This feature maximizes passive safety by providing vital protection in case of falls, theft, explosions, or natural disasters.

Enhanced Security Performance

It prevents the glass from shattering and falling. With reinforced films like SG (SentryGlas), it provides superior structural safety even against high loads such as storms, hurricanes, or explosions.

Noise Control

The interlayer is particularly capable of absorbing external noise (traffic, aircraft, etc.). This feature provides greater acoustic comfort in interior spaces.

Preventing Items from Fading

The PVB interlayer filters out more than 99% of the sun's harmful Ultraviolet (UV) rays. This prevents fading of furniture, artwork, and upholstery indoors.
