Screen Printing and Roll Printing
At Akcam, we use two main application methods depending on the project volume and design complexity: Screen Printing (provides precision in pattern and logo application using stencils) and Roll Printing (provides homogeneity and speed in large volume and solid color coatings). Both methods guarantee even and controlled application of the paint to the glass surface before tempering.
Visual Integrity and Privacy
Enamel-painted glass, especially in architectural facades (spandrel glazing), provides aesthetic integrity to the building by concealing columns, floors, and mechanical installations. The colors are specially prepared according to RAL codes to match the corporate identity of the project and other elements of the facade.
Permanent Chemical Bond
The paint adheres permanently (melts) to the glass surface at high temperatures in the tempering furnace. This process completely prevents the paint from peeling, fading, or cracking.
Repeatability in Pattern and Color
Screen printing enables the production of logos, stripes, or specific geometric patterns in large series with absolute color and positional consistency.
Solar Radiation Management
Whether the paint is opaque or semi-transparent, it reduces the solar energy gain through the glass and contributes to passive energy efficiency by reducing the heat load inside the building.
