Glass bending is the process of giving glass panels permanently curved forms using controlled heating methods. This process is critical for realizing the dynamic and organic lines of architectural projects. At Akcam facilities, glass is heated in our glass bending furnaces to its softening point and spread onto special molds to achieve the desired curved shape. After the bending process, it is possible to subject the glass to a tempering process to increase its strength (Curved Tempered Glass).
